Planned Service Interruptions

October 20 & November 2: OnBase 

Start Time: Saturday, Midnight

End Time: 6:00 a.m.

Due to scheduled maintenance, access to the OnBase system will be unavailable. During this time, students will not be able to submit forms. Faculty and staff OnBase users will not be able to retrieve, submit or scan documents.

October 21: Employee Learning & Training (Skillport)

Start Time: Sunday, 10:00 a.m.

End Time: 1:00 p.m.

Due to scheduled maintenance, access to Employee Learning & Training (Skillport) will be unavailable.

October 23: Employee Learning & Training (Skillport)

Start Time: Tuesday, 10:00 p.m.

End Time: 11:00 p.m.

Due to scheduled maintenance, access to Employee Learning & Training (Skillport) will be unavailable. 

October 24: SOLAR

Start Time: Wednesday, 8:00 p.m.

End Time: Midnight

Due to scheduled maintenance, access to all SOLAR services will be unavailable.

October 28: SOLAR Student Administration, HR & Common Finance System

Start Time: Sunday, Midnight

End Time: 6:00 a.m.

Several computer systems managed by the CSU Chancellor’s Office will be unavailable due to scheduled maintenance on Sunday, October 28th,  from midnight to 6:00 a.m.

During this time, access to CSUN’s SOLAR Student Administration, Human Resources, and Common Finance System will be unavailable. This includes the following services frequently accessed by CSUN students, faculty, and staff:

  • Student Center 
  • Enroll in Classes 
  • View Grades
  • Grade Rosters
  • Class Rosters 
  • My Checklist 
  • Payments 
  • Degree Progress Reports 
  • Class Search 
  • HR Self Service Options 
  • Time & Labor and Absence Management
  • Recruitment / Job Applications 
  • Student Employment Module 
  • Part-Time Faculty Module 
  • Employee Fee Waiver 
  • HR Reports 
  • Common Finance System

During this planned service interruption, users will continue to be able to access the myNorthridge portal, Canvas, email and other IT services.
